We went to the movies today to see Inception.

What can you say? It’s weird – confusing – action filled and oh so good. I’m still not sure what was real and what wasn’t. Go and see for yourelf :)

We went down town today looking for a book and some new shoes for me. I fell on the ice just before christmas and figured out it was time for some new winter shoes. I was on the look for an inexpensive pair of shoes, but ended up buying some waaaay too expensive ones :S I’ve had similar before so I know they’ll last, but they were still a bit too expensive. Well – they’re all bought and ready to wear :)

Hanne came over for some food – chocolate and movies. We ended up watching “Death Note” (?????) – a Japanese movie. It’s originally a manga, and I think I need to check it out after wathing the first two movies. The first one was the best one, but they’re both watchable.

Today I had dinner with Hanne and my mom. We went to Friday’s on Karl Johan, which is always a nice place to eat! A few drinks – a lot of VERY tasty food and off to the movies.

The movie was “Julie & Julia” which was based on a blogger who decided to make quite a lot of recipes from the famous Julia Child (for oss nordmenn kan vi si at hun er amerikas svar på Ingerid Espelig Hovig).
The movie itself is a cute movie, but I think they could have made it a bit more fun – although the 2 hrs the movie lasted just flew away.

We had decided to go to the movies with some friends, but things changed and we had two spare tickets. Hanne bought one and the left-over seat was used for Kenneths helmet and all our coats :D

We’re not usually at the movies. I find it very annoying with ppl. who talk on the phone – throw candy etc etc – and it’s very expensive! BUT – from time to time there are just some movies you wanna see
before you can get them on DVD – “Up” was one of those movies. The movie was ok. It was cute and fun, but nothing what I had imagined. I think the pre-movie was almost better than the movie. The short story is called Partly Cloudy and you can read more about it here.

So – yeah it was a cute movie, but I think I’d rather buy in on sale on DVD instead of spending a lot of money at the cinema.

It’s very hot – during the day and during the day. My friend and I had talked for years about having dinner and a movie and today we finally did it!
Long Island Ice tea – frozen margarita and a “party platter” for each of us. Dessert – the movie Hangover. It was hilarous and really deserves all the good critics its gotten! It was a perfect evening! Thanks, Hanne, for a lovely and fun evening!
