I’m not sure this is for every bride, but one can use the idea for anyone really. There are some lovely pictures there – enjoy!

Akerselva – translated it means: Aker – the name of it – elva = the river,
In the late1880’s it was a lot of industry here and the river got very polluted. Not until the recent 20 years or so – where the area went from old buildings and was turned into offices and apartments – was the river cleaned – and the whole area is now a nice place to walk – from down town Oslo and up to Kjelsås. If you want to read a bit more about it (in English) take a look at Wikipediat
Today we started walking it. We did not start at the very top, but closer to where we live. A 30 min walk. The weather was sunny and nice, but it was a bit colder than we expected (not that we noticed until we got back home inside… I’m not sure I’m even warm now.. 8 hrs later)
Here are a few of the pics we took – and btw, yes, it’s December 13th, not spring.
My dad gave us this new camera for our trip. It’s a bit to learn before we leave next Sunday so I guess we’ll have a fun week of trying out the camera and pack our stuff (made a list so we hope we wont forget anything.. oh – you have shops in the US as well!?
)
The new camera is a Nikon D60. It fits perfect in my hand – a bit too small for my hubby, but since we’re both only amateurs when it comes to photographing it’s not a big deal.
I’ve been fooling around taking some pics of the last summer flowers. I really love this camera except for the lens. We’ll look into buying a larger lens (size DOES matter) when we come to San Francisco.
