Oh – did I tell you we had snow!? Oh yeah, we were out again this morning. Starting with our veranda and then moved out to the street, garage and entrance. I’m glad it was quite warm and not freezing cold, cause it took us a good hour just to remove the snow on our veranda – see the pics! Fingers crossed that March will be sunny, nice and warm – WITHOUT any more snow!
It’s very cold outside and we’ve been feeding the small birds in our garden since late October, but every day I pass these ducks on my way to work and they seem so cold and hungry.
So today I went by the local store and bought 2 bread. I didn’t think there were more than about 30 ducks, but I think there must have been 100 atleast. When they saw me they came running and flying – landing in the snow – sled down towards the river – tried again. They sat on my shoes (guess it was a bit warmer) – feeding frenzy, but nothing like I usually see in the summer where they are angry at each other. I guess they were a bit cold at 7:30 am in the morning to spend even more energy pecking at some other duck!
I did take some pictures, but they’re very bad, but it gives you an idea
These are just those who came all the way up to me – lots more in the water.

It’s cold outside. Though we should be used to it here in Norway it seems that the cold has no end. Where’s the global warming when you “need” it?
I deciced to take the tube to work. It’s faster, but a little longer to walk. I had something that I wanted to try out at Deli Deluca. I downloaded an application
from Apple Store that gave me some free stuff. So – headed to Deli Deluca and got a free hot drink! One drink every day in week one. Don’t think I’ll use it that much, but
it’s always nice to try out some free stuff.

Heading out of Deli Deluca I noticed a lot of police cars and fire trucks. It was water all over the place due to a broken water pipe – it was just too cold! Water + cold = ice!
It was scary to even try to cross the road cause of all the water and ice, but I somehow managed to cross the street and walk to work.

My blog has been down for a couple of week. And upgrade went very wrong and I had to ask for help from our service provider, and as you can see – it’s close to normal. I’m gonna add the December pictures as soon as possible as these were lost, but they’re not gone forever!
I hope you all had a nice celebration last night. We had dinner with my parents – dinner made by me. Turkey, potatoes, carrots, + + – mom made dessert. After dinner we enjoyed card games and Yatzy over a few drinks. To top it off I had to be a support person for my work. Of course something goes wrong on New Years eve at 9 pm… but it was up and running again with in a few hours *puh*
Today is a very quiet day. I guess that red whine and rum really doesn’t go well together…. vin før rom blir dum…(wine before rum makes you dumb..). Anyway! It’s still quite chilly outside, so at the moment I’m gonna enjoy my blog and update it with pictures from x-mas.
Here are a few movie clips dad my dad recorded with his camera. You’ll need Realplayer to see these clips – they will take a few mins to load. The first is the largest so try one if the others if you don’t want to wait a few mins for it to load.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I’m not complaining! We’ve had – and still have a white christmas. It’s very pretty, but we decided that we had to shovel some snow from our veranda while it’s still new and light. It’s like movie snow, but it’s still heavy work as you can see from the picture.. it was a LOT to shovel!
