My hubby took half the day off work - and the next two days (he works TOO much).

So – our birdy (a cockatiel) got to get out of its cage earlier than normal :) He almost looks a bit happy!

Thanks to Ravenblack and Charrion for helping Thoyvaz, Crusifix and myself with Durnholde Keep! It was a great group, and after the first Leroy it all went perfectly! All thanks to the blonde-human-elf (confused?) :D

It’s cold outside! Minus 12 degrees C (10.4 F) and windy (and snowy).

It’s one of those days when you wanna be in bed and do nothing! Or be a couch potato eating chocolate – drinking tea and watch a good movie! My fingers are so cold – and ppl. complain that the office is cold (just like yesterday), but I don’t think they’ll do anything about it. I should wear fingerless mittens or something :D

I made a cup of hot cocoa and added some chai tea latte mix – smells and tastes delicious! Too bad I’m at the bottom of my can and I can’t seem to find anyone in Norway who sell this (I bought this in Copenhagen).

If anyone out there know of a place in Norway that sell this stuff – please write me a comment :D Chai Serenity from Caffe D’Amore. The SPICED one – red can – or the orange one with vanilla. I tried ordering it from the states, but they only ship to US and Canada :(

It’s finished! I know binding off 400 stitches isn’t that bad, but it’s still boring!

The pattern is called Príhyrnur and it’s from Iceland. Príhyrnur meaning “tre corners”. It’s very easy to knit. The pictures shows the model where you start in the middle of your back – ending it on 300 – 400 or whatever you want stitches. I knit my shawl with double kid mohair using 4.5 (metric) or US 7 needles.

You’ll find an English translastion of the pattern below the picture. I’ll add a picture of my own shawl later today.

An English translastion will be added later today :)

MYVU. Watch a movie while walking! Not sure I can do both at once, but the idea of it! Great idea for commutors or if you have to travel for a few houres (ex. 15 h by train!!!! (think you might need an extra battery then)

This kinda reminds me of a commerical for VISA – with Bruce Willins saving the day for the girls on the bus. Guess the future is here.
