Sometimes I just need a snack – usually I want chocolate.. but we don’t have that (cause I’d eat it *lol*), so tonight we made fruit salad instead. Here’s mine – apple, orange and mango – YUMMY!

This is how my morning started: I had bad night with not that much sleep so I thought about having home office. Thinking that it was too easy I got up – jumped in the shower and went to work. After about 45 min we started to smell burnt rubber. Everyone was sniffing the air – checking cables etc. to see where it came from – that’s then when the fire alarm went off. So – down 6 floors – waiting some 10 mins before the fire dept. came (I wonder what took them so long). We couldn’t see that much smoke – nor fire, but the first floors were kinda “grey-ish”.

At 10:30 am we could go back, but the smell was too bad – and all the windows was open so it was both cold and smelly – that’s when I went home…

And yes – the wall needs painting! There will be NO unpainted walls in this house. We had that in our old apartment and I was just tired of how unfinished it looked! It will be painted white when the summer comes and we can air out the smell from the paint.

I’ve also started my 2nd Koolhaas hat. This will be on display at a local knitting store as part of the Easter collection (sorry about the bad pictures)

Growing up as an only child  – I need to have time to myself – just be all alone!

I usually have lots of plans for what I’m suppose to do, but today baking *cough cough* is one of those .. “so many plans – so little time”-days I’ve managed to do quite a bit of knitting – and clear away the last pices of christmas (oh yes, two forgotten pices high on on a shelf.. )

Anyway – I was quite the domestic queen last night – here is what I did:
