I think this must be the most stupid waste of yarn – and most useless way to keep anyone from  looking over your shoulder while you’re working on your computer. Silly ppl!

and all I got were these 2 lovely pictures! I was here back in 87 on a summer holiday fishing for coal fish (us – pollack), but I ended up with a seagull on my string.

Anyway – Saltstraumen is the strongest tidal current in the world and you can read more about it on wikipedia.

My parents :)

I’m back at work – the weather is sunny and nice (atleast for today.. rain coming this afternoon!! :( )

I went to a “SnB united crafts thingy” last night. Which means it was a LYS (local yarn shop) together with my crafts group that invited a knitting designer to come and tell us her story and to show us her designs. I wasn’t feeling too well, but I was there for here entire lecture and then I went home again. Kristin Holte is one funny and inspiring lady. I have taken pictures of one of her dresses which was made out of flowers – knitted flowers! They covered the whole dress! (ok – I know I’m teasing you here since you must wait till I get home to see a picture of it ;) ) Her other designs included all kinds of yarn! Not all cotton – wool – silk etc. but a mix and match of textures and colors. I think it was an eye-opener for quite a few of us and for those who think that everything MUST match – well – I think they got some new ideas (I know I certainly did)

Here’s a bad picture of what I’m knitting right now. It’s a picture of a copy .. yeah I know. It’s a jacket knitted in one piece – I’m knitting it in off white and LARGE needles – I’ve just started working the arms :) Looking good and feels cozy :D

I’m down with a “good” old-fashioned cold atm. Fever, nose running, coughing and just “the flu” feeling in my body which makes everything hurt (like getting out of the couch…)

Anyway – the picture shows my new curtains which my mum made for all of my 3 kitchen windows. I bought the fabric last year *cough cough* thinking I’d make them myself, but I never did – so rescue came from my mum!

We’ve been waiting for some sunny and warm days. The spring has been long, cold and rainy!

Too bad I was coming down with a cold cause it was a perfect day to spend on the balcony – knitting :)

Compare it with last Saturday – when it was SNOWING!
