I haven’t forgotten about you. I’ve just started my old-new hobby. Back in 1993 I spent a whole summer tracing my relatives, but internet was in its early stages so all data was only found in books – living sources etc.

But in 2009 everything (almost everything) can be found on the internet – and that’s where I’ve been – on ancestry.com – making a new family tree – adding the old data to the new and found lots of stuff I had now idea was out there.

Of course this is only of interest for myself and my relatives, but a good idea if you like this stuff – try ancestry.com.

If you’re a member of my family I think you can figure out what names to search for to find the tree – or just mail or text me and I’ll give you the info. Maybe you can help me in my work.

After having weeks with a lot of snow and cold we see the sun! I don’t think that spring is here yet, but in 2007 we had an early spring so fingers crossed (not like last year when we had snow May 17th.. )

I have no plans for the weekend as I’m on-call at work for the next week – starting today. I think I’ll knit on the Sofia jacket or finish this cute crocheted bear.

My co-worker Karin is 28 today so I figured out we should give her a good start this morning – atleast put a big smile on her face. Later today is an all-girl lunch.

While I was busy at my local LYS (local yarn store) chatting my day away, my hubby caught this little guy pecking away on one of the coconuts we hang in the trees for the birds – he wasn’t scared that easily and tried his new luck on this light pole.
