Peekaboo

I’m finally getting the spring feeling back after the snowfall we had. The snow is melting and it’s getting warmer. Not much need for socks, but I know that there will be rainy and cold days again so better safe than sorry.

These socks are knitted with a peekaboo ribbing (Thank you Ann for the easy and fun pattern). The socks are finished, but it’s the ribbing that’s the fun part of the sock so I thought I’d show you that instead.

After finishing the socks I started knitting a jacket for my mom. It’s knitted on large needles so I hope it will be finished with a week or so (one can hope).

When we finally thought we had spring – it started snowing. Not like a bit of snow! No, it’s snowing elephants. It’s windy as well – and cold and I’m glad I didn’t fall on my ass on my way to work. All the snow that melted turned into ice during the night and then we had snow on top of that.

I guess we’ll have spring eventually, but it will not be this coming weekend!

My favourite clothing store has been closed for months, but today they re-opened their doors.

I went a bits nuts and bought myself some stuff – it’s all black and white (except for the lipgloss) so I guess I need to color it up a bit.

There’s not much to say as the pictures speaks for themselves. I’ve been missing “my” sunsets.
