It’s very hot – during the day and during the day. My friend and I had talked for years about having dinner and a movie and today we finally did it!
Long Island Ice tea – frozen margarita and a “party platter” for each of us. Dessert – the movie Hangover. It was hilarous and really deserves all the good critics its gotten! It was a perfect evening! Thanks, Hanne, for a lovely and fun evening!

So I finished the blanket 2 days too late, but all in all I’m happy it turned out the way it did! I love the colors and would like to make one for myself one day (just not when it’s 30 + degrees outside). It’s made in double Mirasol from Du Store Alpakka so it’s both very soft and very warm. Sara – I hope you’ll be happy for the blanket!

My old co-worker and friend, Karin, got married to Per today. I guess when you have been together for 6 years and have 2 kids it’s time to tie the knot. Karin’s niece sang a Chinese song (she’s 11 years old) and I must admit it brought tears to my eyes. She lives in Hong Kong and had learned it in the choir she is in. So grats again to the both of you. I hope you’ll have a nice bbq tonight and that the weather will stay below 40

Gratulerer med dagen Sara! Happy birthday Sara! I guess you’ve been a nice girl this year as the weather is hot and sunny! I’ve been working on a project for you and was hoping to finish it before your birthday. I was nearly done when my right arm and shoulder acted up and I had to take a break – so… you’ll have to stick to these pictures to tease you for another week. As you can see the project has had it’s Kitti inscpector and I think it was a pass

I had to check in on the weather site as the weather shows rain and I can assure you – there’s no rain here! It’s sunny and very hot! At the moment I think it’s better to be inside where we have air condition and I must say I’m NOT looking forward to take the tram home. Yesterday was so crowded and hot so fingers crossed that ppl. have taken an early weekend!
