fun stuff, music, wedding No Comments »

I’ve been watching a few people getting married and it’s almost the same all the time. Wedding march – entrance – psalms – reading – the ceremony – more music and then the exit.

I guess this one wont suit everyone, but personally I think it’s rather fun – just like what a wedding should be all about!

My parents kitchen is (was) 25+ years old, so it was time to get something new. I’ll post some pictures laster of the before and after. My mom and I went to IKEA after having drawn the kitchen and printed it. IKEA on a Saturday is a real mess and should be avoided if you have a bad heart, but we got the best service so there was no need to worry.

Why buy an IKEA kitchen you say? For one it’s cheap. If you get bored with the cabinets you can change them in no time and for the cost of next to nothing. We bought our kitchen at IKEA 5 years ago and we still love it (search for kitchen and you should find it). So – back to this kitchen. We couldn’t just order the kitchen we had drawn – we had to draw it again. After a few tries we were all happy and the kitchen was ordered and it will attive week 33. This will give us some time to paint and put the flooring down.

Here's a picture of what it will look like. A little pale cause I can't add color to the back wall, but atleast it gives you an idea.

Most people love Fridays. There’s always the weekend to look forward to. We don’t have any plans. We did have plans for a bbq with some friends this Sunday, but the planes have been pushed forward to next weekend. I guess it will be us and the garden if the weather will keep this sunny and nice until tomorrow *fingers crossed*

It’s been a quiet week. I can’t say I’ve done much except for picking berries – taking pics and reading (and finishing) “Summer on blossom street”, and of course I’ve done some knitting!

I’ve been thinking about a fall project for myself. We’ll have a long drive to and from my mother-in-law later this year, so I was thinking about knitting this:

Garnstudio

I might change the pattern a bit so it doesn’t start just on the boobs. I want to show off the pattern, not my boobs – or maybe I should just keep it like it is like an excuse to men to say “sorry.. was looking at the nice.. pattern” (ok – some bad humor there) :D Anyway! I wish you all a sunny and nice weekend!

Since it was such a nice evening yesterday, I decided to go out and take some pics. First we picked 4 bags of raspberries – already in the freezer.

Have a look at what you can find in our garden – and this are just a small part of it (add a bunch of flowers – and I know I forgot to take pics of the strawberries)

In the summer it’s boring to make dinner. Mostly it’s cause the hot weather doesn’t really wanna make you eat anything. Although we’ve had rain for quite a few days now, this afternoon turned out to be quite sunny and warm. So – the big question was – what’s for dinner?

We ended up making something very easy – my version of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. The salmon was already smoked (store bought) and the eggs – it took us less than 5 mins to make it, and it tasted yummy!
