It’s been a good 5 weeks. I’m spending this evening going through a lot of pics from our drive down in Europe and our visit to my mother-in-law in Mo i Rana (Norway). If you wanna have a look at the pics just read back a few weeks.

I’m sure it will be hard going back to work tomorrow. Most of all I think I’ll have a few thousand mail waiting for me to browse through! But it’s nice to start on Thursday. That way I can be ready for Monday and not have to spend yet another day with those boring mails!

Hope you all had a good September and I hope you’ll still have a nice fall.

After leaving Copenhagen we wanted to have a stop in Tønder (my friend Heidi told me about their lace and that the town is so small and cute – we just had to visit).

We parked by an old hotel. Just take a look at the old guard dog! Isn’t it just the cutest thing! If you ever drive close to this place I’d say – stop and visit!

After a couple of weeks at home we decided to go to Copenhagen. Instead for driving there (about 7-8 hrs) we took the boat. It’s nice to take the boat at 5 pm. Just get onboard – go to your cabin and then just relax. We had dinner – buffet (cause then everyone can eat whatever they like!) and then we relaxed watching some tv. We arrived in Copenhagen the next day and went to find our hotel. Even though it was only 10 am we were lucky enough to check-in so we left our stuff in the HUGE room (could fit a family of 8.. !) at Hotel Kong Frederik and went for a walk.

We walked for hrs and did mainly window shopping – except for 4 cans of chai latte (I can’t find them here in Norway so I usually buy a few whenever I’m in Copenhagen). After walking around for quite some time we went to Tivoli and had lunch there. Since it was quite early we decided to come back later in the evening (this extra entrance only cost a couple $$ so it’s a nice deal if you wanna come back during the day).

Tivoli at night is something quite different than during the day. The lighting is… something to experience! My pics can’t really show off the lights, so I think you better go and visit the place yourself.

On one of the pics you’ll see a long white thing bathing in red light. It’s a part of a windmill that will produce power to Tivoli – and that way they’ll be more environmental – nice job there Tivoli!

My dad is 60 today! I guess he feels like 25 as he’s busy as usual. No time to rest on this sunny and warm September day. He spends his day on a harvester – just the way he likes it!
