It’s almost the end of January, and I wonder where it went? There’s one good thing though – the days are longer and it’s still light (!) when I go home from work, but spring is still some months away…

It’s Friday – and that counts for some fun stuff! Today it’s music – The Baseballs. They play modern tunes in 50’s style! I think it’s the first time I’ve ever liked the song Umbrella! (.. for your information I hate the original – REALLY hate it!). If you like them – just go to youtube and type the baseballs and listen to more of their songs. Or try searching for them on Spotify – my working Friday is saved with this music! Have a nice weekend everyone!

It’s been one year since Tine Solheim visited my LYS (local yearn store). Tonight she’s back with models from her new book “Maskepi”

There were lots of laughs and of course a lot of inspiration. I hope this evening will be as good as the last one we had!

If you’re in Oslo and wanna join me. Come to Frysja 33 – across Stillatorget. Doors opens at 6 pm and I suggest that you’re there early as
we had to reject ppl. last year. Tine will start at 7pm. Charge – 100 nkr.

I går var vi og handlet på OBS. Et av skiltene reklamerte for “Plysdyr”. Jeg måtte bare ta bildet av det for selve ordet var bare så morsomt.
Antar at det mangler en H i dette ordet, men det var jo litt søtt uansett.

A few years ago I had this “I can’t knit socks” thing in my head. Of course this was just silly as everything is easy when you know how to do it!

So – I’ve seen all these Moebius scarves and thought “I can’t do that”, but with some great help from Youtube and Cat Bordhi – it’s now – of course I can!

I would not suggest doing what I did as it takes forever to finish it (that’s using very thin needles and fine yarn!). As a first try use something chunky and large needles!

If you only knit this – not use any fancy pattern, I think it’s the perfect tv-knitting project. As you don’t have to look at your knitting at all – it’s just knit knit knit!

Wanna try?
