We took Friday off and drove to Denmark! Such a nice weather and we were lucky enough to have almost no rain! (even though the weather forecast told us something totally different!). It’s not really a long drive, but it’s the same road we’ve driven so many times, but this time we had our lovely,
Since our “summer” holiday starts in mid August we decided to take a weekend in Denmark.Trying out our new car on a long-trip – so looking forward to it – and of course – Denmark – our 2nd home This can’t be bad!
It’s Denmark’s national day today and since JO is Danish (well – half at least, but with a danish citizenship) we flag with the Danish flag. Too bad it was a very wet and rainy day, but I heard that it was sunny and nice in Denmark.

So we’ve booked a room at Skodsborg Kurhotel again for the first part of our vecation in August! Looking forward to going back here – and of course to Denmark – and lunch and/or dinners at Cafe Olai in Helsingør!
Happy birthday Denmark! We decided to start the day at the Copenhagen Zoo, though we kinda forgot about the Danish National Day, so we and about 10 000 others went to the zoo (but we were there when it opened so it was TOO bad.. except for all the ppl. with strollers (barnevogner)!!!). Some pics
We arrived early morning in Copenhagen and went to park our car at the usual place – and then we started walking! Our first stop was “Tante Te” – a cozy little shop with lots of tea – and you can even sit down and have cake etc and just relax. We didn’t really have
We haven’t used all our vectaion for this year, so we decided to take a trip to Denmark. Instead of driving the 8 hrs to Copenhagen we took the car on the boat – nice and relaxing. The cabin was large and nice – with water, beer and champagne in the fridge – and fruit,
